PREPARATION

After your consultation, it is important to stay hydrated in preparation for your treatment procedure. This’ll help keep the skin healthy and ready to receive the bounteous benefits offered by an Opus Plasma procedure. It is also vital that you avoid long exposure to UV rays. This includes natural sunlight as well as tanning beds. 

PROCEDURE

Here at our offices just outside of Boca Raton, you will be greeted by our wonderful support staff and be walked to your private treatment room. After administering a topical anesthetic, we will take the Alma Opus Plasma device and move it around the trouble areas that were discussed in your consultation. There should be only a slight twinge experienced during the procedure. If more discomfort is experienced please speak up and let us know. Our top priority is client safety and client satisfaction.

Then, once the treated area is thoroughly addressed, after around 30 minutes, a protective balm will be applied to your skin. This is to help seal over the skin and protect it as the results set in.

RECOVERY

For the next 24-48 hours you may experience some slight redness or swelling on or around the treated areas. This is completely normal and should subside in the next day or so. For the next two weeks after your treatment, it is best to continue to avoid any UV exposure as your skin is now hypersensitive to harsh rays. If you do have to go outside for an extended period of time, we recommend wearing sunscreen that is at least 50 SPF. Also, in that span of 2 weeks discontinue any use of abrasive products such as retinol or hydroquinone.
